Mapperley Golf Club

The club was founded early in the 1900’s. Named ‘St. Andrews Institute Golf Club’, the name of St Andrews coming from a local church on the corner of Mansfield Road and Mapperley Road, Nottingham. Very little is known of those days but in the issue of St. Andrews Parish Magazine dated 30 November 1903 the Golf Club is mentioned.
