There was some incredible low scoring in the Theatre Cup, played at the Club in perfect conditions. Will Taylor eventually won the competition with a nett 63, but only on a count back with Tim Herbert and Dan Scriven! He reduced his handicap to 3.8. Will, an Island junior player, returned a two under gross 68, which included three birdie twos and two birdie threes. His finish of 2, 2, 3, 3 secured the back nine count back from 17 handicapper Tim Herbert. In third place was 14 year old Dan Scriven who carded a gross 80 off his 16 handicap. The best gross score of the day went to Island player Christy McLaughlin, who retuned a gross 66, nett 65. A total of 23 players broke their handicap.
